Editing Story and EIC Tags

Story Tags and EIC Story Tags and EIC are special icons that can be attached to any article within a category. These icons appear only on the browsing screen and are not visible on article pages.

• You can edit either tag but cannot add new ones.

• Only two icons are supported, and both are required.

The following fields can be edited in Contentful:

• Icon Title

• Icon Description

• Icon File

Steps to Editing a Story or EIC Tag

Step 1: Open the Content View

Select the Content tab in the Contentful dashboard, located in the upper-left corner of the screen. This opens the Content View.

Step 2: Open General Configurations

In the views panel on the lower-left side of the screen, select General Configurations.

Step 3: Open the Default General Configurations Template

Locate the Default Configuration Template and click to open it.

Step 4: Locate Story and EIC Tags Scroll down to the Tags section.

Step 5: Edit a Tag Select either tag to open and edit:

• Title (optional) – the name of the tag

• Description (optional) – descriptive text for the tag

• File (required) – the icon file.

  Note: You may only delete a current file and replace it with a new one.

Step 6: Publish Your Changes Click the green Publish button in the upper-right corner of the screen to publish your edits.

Note: All edits must be published to appear in the app.

If any required items are missing, Contentful will display an error message.
