Editing The Landing Screen

The application defaults to the Landing Screen after a set period of inactivity. This screen is designed to draw in users and give them a clear prompt on what they will find and how to get started.
The following fields can be edited in Contentful:
Landing Pre-Title
Landing Sub-Title
Attract CTA Image
Landing Background Color
Steps to Editing the Landing Screen
Step 1: Open the Content View

Select the Content tab in the Contentful dashboard, located in the upper-left corner of the screen. This opens the Content View.
Step 2: Open General Configurations

In the views panel on the lower-left side, select General Configurations.

Step 3: Open the Default General Configurations Template

Locate the Default Configuration Template that has already been set up for you, and click to open it.
Step 4: Edit Landing Title and Subtitle Fields

Scroll down to the Landing fields and edit:
Landing Pre-Title 1 – Required
Landing Pre-Title 2 – Optional
Landing Subtitle Line 3 – Required
Attract CTA Image – Optional (this is the hand icon currently shown in the app, see details below)
Landing Background Color – Optional (this is the background color of this screen, see details below)
Step 5: Publish Your Changes Click the green Publish button in the upper-right corner of the screen
Note: All edits must be published before they will appear in the app. If any required fields are missing, Contentful will display an error message.
Editing the Attract CTA Image
This field allows you to define or edit the Attract CTA Image, which is a PNG file imported using the file selector like all other images.
Steps to Editing the Attract CTA Image
Step 1: Locate Attract CTA Image

Scroll down to the Attract CTA Image section and click to open.
Step 2: Complete Title and Description Fields

Title (required) – the name of the icon
Description (optional) – descriptive text for the icon
Step 3: Upload a New Icon File
Click on Add media and upload your new icon. See Importing Images for detailed steps.
Note: You may only delete a current file and replace it with a new one if editing an existing General Configurations file.
Step 6: Publish Your Changes Click the green Publish button in the upper-right corner of the screen to publish your edits.
Note: All edits must be published to appear in the app.
If any required items are missing, Contentful will display an error message.
Editing the Landing Background Color
This field allows you to define or edit the background color of the landing screen. If you are working with an existing General Configurations file, the current color will already be displayed here.
Steps to Editing the Landing Background color
Step 1: Locate Landing Background Color
Scroll down to the Landing Background Color section and click the current color to open it.
Step 2: Choose a New Color


Select from a list of preset colors, or use the color picker to define a custom color.
Step 6: Publish Your Changes
Click the green Publish button in the upper-right corner of the screen to publish your edits.
Note: All edits must be published to appear in the app.
If any required items are missing, Contentful will display an error message.
