Editing Search Filter Templates

Search Filters The Search Screen is where users can perform keyword searches of the database using preset filters for each category. Up to three keywords can be selected at a time.

You can edit the keywords that appear on this screen inside the Category Menu Template in Contentful.

• Select an existing filter to edit it, or click Add Content to create a new one.

• Existing filter templates are linked, so opening one allows you to edit all of them.

Steps to Edit a Search Filter Template

Step 1: Open a Search Filter Template Scroll down to the Search Filters section within the Category Menu Template. Select an existing filter or click Add Content to create a new one.

Step 2: Edit the Search Filter Field There is only one field to complete for a search filters :

1. Tag (required)

   • The key words that show in each preset filter on the Search screen

   • Character limit: 256 characters

Step 3: Publish Your Changes Click the green Publish button in the upper-right corner of the screen to publish your edits.

Note: All edits must be published to appear in the app.

If any required items are missing, Contentful will display an error message.
