External Link

This template is designed to display external websites within our application. It’s one of the simplest page templates to use, requiring only two fields to be completed in order to add an external link to your page.

From this screen, you can also live preview and publish the page.

Note: External Links must be published to appear within an article in the app.

External Link Template Configuration

To create a new External Link page, complete the following sections:

1. Page Info (optional)

• Used for internal reference only

• Helps identify and organize content in the Views panel of Contentful

• Does not appear in the app

• Highly recommended for keeping content organized

• Add a descriptive title for easier navigation

• Character limit: 256 characters

2. URL (required)

• Enter the URL of the website you want to load into the application

• No further action is needed other than publishing the page
