Steps to Add an Audio File

Audio files—like videos, PDFs, and images—are nested within three layers of templates.

  1. First, the audio file must be imported into a File Asset Template.

  2. The File Asset Template is placed inside an Audio Asset Template.

  3. The Audio Asset Template is then nested inside the Audio and Text Page Template.

Step 1: Add Media

Scroll to the Audio field and click Add media. You’ll see two options:

Select Existing Media

  • Choose an audio file that already exists in Contentful

  • It will be inserted automatically—no additional setup needed
