Steps to Add a Video File
Video files—like audios, PDFs, and images—are nested within three layers of templates.
First, the audio file must be imported into a File Asset Template.
The File Asset Template is placed inside an Video Asset Template.
The Audio Asset Template is then nested inside the Video and Text Page Template.
Step 1: Add Media
Scroll to the Video field and click Add media. You’ll see two options:
Select Existing Media
Choose an audio file that already exists in Contentful
It will be inserted automatically—no additional setup needed

Upload New Media
Select a file from your desktop or local folder
New audio files must first be added to an Audio Asset Template
See the next section for detailed instructions

Step 2: Complete the Video Asset Template
Once inside the Video Asset Template, complete the required fields (see details below).
You can also live preview and publish from this screen.
Step 3: Publish the Video Asset
Click the green Publish button in the upper-right corner to publish your new video file.
Reminder: If any required fields are missing, Contentful will display an error message.
