Image and Text

This template is designed to display an image file in portrait or landscape mode alongside:
A title
A subtitle
A paragraph of text
Embedded images within paragraph text (including QR codes)
An optional image caption
An optional image credit
This template has the unique feature of supporting embedded images in the body field, including QR codes.
Like all image templates, this page includes several required fields that must be completed to build your Image and Text page. You can also live preview and publish the page from this screen.
Note: Pages must be published to appear within an article in the app.



Image and Text Template Configuration
To create a new Image and Text page, complete the following sections:

1. Page Info (optional)
Used for internal reference only
Helps identify and organize pages in the Views panel of Contentful
Does not appear in the app
Highly recommended for keeping content organized
Add a descriptive title for easier navigation
Character limit: 256 characters

2. Title (required)
Displays as the main title of the page
Character limit: 72 characters

3. Subtitle (optional)
Optional field for supporting text under the title
Character limit: 100 characters

4. Body (required)
Rich text field for adding paragraph content and embedded images (including QR codes)
Supports basic rich text formatting (bold, italics, bullets, etc.)
Character limit: 1000 characters

5. Image (required)
This is where you import your image source file
Supported formats: JPG and PNG

6. Caption (optional)
This is where you add caption text
Character limit: 200 characters
7. Image Orientation (required)
Determines whether the image displays in Portrait or Landscape mode.
Default setting: No
8. Enable Pan & Zoom (required)
Controls whether visitors can pan and zoom on the image.
Default setting: No
Steps to Add an Image
Images—like videos, audio, and PDFs—are nested within three layers of templates:
The image file must first be imported into a File Asset Template.
The File Asset Template is placed inside an Image Asset Template.
The Image Asset Template is then nested inside the Image and Text Template.
